Update (11:00PM PST): Tonight in Los Angeles, Kate wore a green ‘Maja Silk dress’ by American designer Diane Von Furstenberg to a reception at the British Consular-General’s residence in L.A. Love the color on her! She also carried a DVF Lytton Spotted Leopard Convertible Clutch.

From LAX, Wills and Kate departed for their first LA event: Variety’s Venture Capital and New Media Summit at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Later this evening, they will attend a reception at the British Consular-General. Tomorrow, Saturday, the Duke and Duchess will be attending a charity polo match in Santa Barbara, CA, followed by a BAFTA event L.A.
Earlier today: Will and Kate bid farewell to Canada and depart for Los Angeles!
This morning, Will and Kate attended the Calgary Stampede Parade:
Will and Kate then toured the ENMAX Conservatory at the Calgary Zoo in Calgary. Kate seen wearing a red coat dress by Catherine Walker with the Queen’s maple leaf brooch.
This afternoon, they will be headed for Los Angeles, CA. Their itinerary for the day is as follows:
Friday, July 8:
8:50 a.m. MT — Arrive at Bow Valley College to officially launch Calgary Stampede Parade; watch parade.
11:30 a.m. — Arrive at the ENMAX Conservatory/Calgary Zoo; tour environmental preservation displays; meet homeless youth privately; attend Alberta government reception.
12:45 p.m. — Arrive at Challenger Rotary Park; wreath-laying.
1:30 p.m. — Arrive at Calgary International Airport for departure to Los Angeles.
